To help me pass the moments by,
One of these by Robert Frost
Recounting ancient winters lost,
The other by Mr. Odgen Nash
On the difficulties of keeping cash.
I pick them up in a weary mood
Scanning pages for something good.
Both have images, both have rhyme
Both are good at keeping time,
Mr. Nash is a boon and a blessing
But Jesus! Robert Frost’s depressing!
